Recruitment of a total of 8,326 Group 'C' posts in various Departments/Offices of the Central Government across the country comprising a total of 4,887 of 'Multi Tasking Staff' (mts) and a total of 3,439 of 'Havaldar' in CBIC and CBN. Eligibility : (as on 1st August 2024) Passed 10th or equivalent examination.
Age Limit : Dt. As on 1st August 2024 – 18 to 25 years for MTS posts. (Candidate should be born between 2nd August 1999 to 1st August 2006.)
18 to 27 years for some posts of Constable and MTS in CBIC/ CBN. (Candidate should be born between 2nd August 1997 to 1st August 2006.)

Exam Center : Amravati, Aurangabad, Jalgaon, Kolhapur, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nanded, Nashik, Pune, Panaji etc. (Candidates have to give preference order for three centers while applying.)
Selection Method : Computer Based Examination (CBE) Session-1 & Session-2 for MTS posts; CBE and Physical Aptitude Test (PET)/Physical Parameters Test (PST) – Computer Based Examination (CBE) Objective Type Multiple Choice for Constable posts will be conducted in two sessions. The UEA exam will be conducted in October-November 2024.
Session – 1 – (I) Numerical and Mathematical Ability – 20 Questions, 60 Marks. (II) Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving – 20 Questions, 60 Marks, Time 45 minutes Session-1 will automatically close on completion. After that session-2 will start.
Session – 2 – (I) General Awareness – 25 Questions, 75 Marks. (II) English Language and Comprehension – 25 questions, 75 marks, time 45 minutes. Marks will not be deducted for wrong answer in Session-1 (Session-1). 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in Session-2. Answer Keys will be declared in due course after CBE. Question papers in Hindi/English, and Marathi, Konkani, Kannada, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu etc. 13 will be printed in the local language. Candidates must mention the language option in the online application form.
Computer Based Examination : Minimum marks required for qualifying in CBE Session – 1 & Session – 2 – Open Group – 30 percent, IMAV/EWS – 25 percent and 20 percent for other categories. Only those candidates who qualify in Session-1 will be checked for Session-2 papers.
Selection for MTS posts will be based on merit in CBE Session-II state wise.
Physical Aptitude Test (PET) and Physical Parameters Test (PST) will be conducted at various centers across the country after passing CBE for the posts of Constables in CBIC and CBN, Candidates qualified in PET/ PST will be selected on merit wise/category wise in Session-2.
Physical Ability Test : (i) (PET) – For Male – Walk 1600m in 15 minutes. For women – 1 km. Walking distance in 20 minutes.
Physical Parameters Test : (ii) (PST) – Male – Height – 157.5 cm. (Height 152.5 cm for Scheduled Tribe (ST)) Chest – 76 to 81 cm. Female – Height – 152 cm. (Height 149.5 cm for ST), Weight – 48 kg.
